Privacy Policy

Last updated: 14 October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Live355 collects, why we use it, who it is shared with, how long we keep it, and what rights you have. In short: when you bet at a Live355 shop, we collect no personal data about you. Tickets are anonymous. The personal data we do hold is mainly about the staff who work in our shops.

We process personal data under the law on personal data protection of the Republic of Albania and, for shops and people in Kosovo, the data protection law of Kosovo.

1.Who is responsible for data

Live355 (live355.com) is a sports betting service. Bets are placed at Live355 shops, at the counter.

In this document “Live355”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean the operator of the Live355 service.

We decide why and how personal data is used, so we are the data controller. You can reach us at [email protected].

2.Betting at the counter: no personal data

To bet at a shop you do not need an account, and you are not asked for your name, phone number, email address or any other personal data. You pay in cash and receive an anonymous printed ticket.

  • Ticket records. For each ticket our system keeps the search code, the selections, odds and stake, the time, the shop and the staff member who sold it, how the ticket was settled, whether it was paid or cancelled, and how many times it was reprinted. These records describe the ticket, not a person, and we do not link them to your identity.
  • Identity documents. The manager may ask to see an identity document to check that you are at least 18, or where the law requires it. This is only for the manager to look at; the Live355 system does not record it.
  • Checking a ticket. Anyone can check a ticket at live355.com/check with its search code. We do not ask who you are, and the payout code is never shown there.

Because we do not know who our customers are, we cannot link a ticket to a person unless that person presents the ticket and its codes.

3.The personal data we do collect

  • Staff and manager accounts: name, username, phone number, role and the shop where the person works. Passwords are stored only as hashes.
  • Staff activity: the tickets a staff member sells, pays out, cancels or reprints, recorded against their account so that each shop’s cash and tickets can be reconciled and checked.
  • Security logs: for staff sign-ins, the IP address, device and browser details, login times and sessions, which we use to protect accounts and to prevent fraud and abuse.
  • Messages: what you tell us when you contact us or make a complaint, and any contact details you choose to give.
  • Technical data: any technical data your browser sends to load a page is used only to run and protect the website.

We receive staff data from the staff member and from their shop or from us, and security data automatically from the device used to sign in. We do not collect data from social media.

Online player accounts. For each online account holder we also hold: username, name and phone number supplied through the manager; a record that the manager checked the identity document and confirmed that the person is at least 18 (and, if a copy of the document is uploaded, we keep it encrypted); betting and transaction history; safer-gambling settings; and security data. This policy applies to that data as well.

4.Why we use data and on what basis

We do not use data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not make decisions about people that have legal effects using only automated means. Where the law requires consent for a particular use, we ask for it first and it can be withdrawn at any time.

5.Who receives data

  • Shop managers, who see the tickets and staff activity of their own shop.
  • Our authorised staff, such as support, compliance and finance, who see only what their work requires.
  • Service providers, such as our hosting and infrastructure provider, which process data on our behalf and only on our instructions.
  • Authorities and advisers, such as regulators, courts, police, tax and anti-money-laundering authorities where the law requires or allows it, and our lawyers and auditors.

Our sports data provider supplies events, odds and results and receives no personal data. If personal data is ever processed outside Albania or Kosovo, it will be only as the applicable data protection law allows.

6.How long we keep data

Ticket records are kept for the period that gambling, accounting and anti-money-laundering rules require, typically 5 years, and longer only if the law requires or a claim or investigation is pending. Staff data is kept while the account is open and afterwards for the same period where records of that person’s activity must be kept; after that it is deleted or made anonymous. Security logs are kept only as long as they are needed for security and fraud prevention, and no longer than these records.

Messages and complaints are kept for as long as needed to deal with them and to defend legal claims.

7.Your rights

Under the data protection law that applies to you, you have the right to:

  • know whether we process your data and get a copy of it;
  • have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected;
  • ask for your data to be deleted, where we have no legal reason to keep it (we must keep some records for the period above);
  • ask us to restrict processing, or object to processing that is based on our legitimate interests;
  • receive the data you gave us in a usable format, where the law provides for it;
  • withdraw your consent, where we rely on it.

To use any of these rights, contact us. You can reach us at [email protected]. We may need to check who you are first, and we will answer within the time set by law. Because bets at the counter are anonymous, we hold no personal data about customers and we will not ask you to identify yourself just to answer a request about a ticket.

You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority: in Albania, the Commissioner for the Right to Information and Protection of Personal Data, and in Kosovo, the Information and Privacy Agency.

8.How we protect data

  • The payout code is printed only on the paper ticket and is never shown on the public check page.
  • Passwords are stored only as hashes, so nobody can read them.
  • Access to the shop systems is limited by role, so that staff can do only what their work requires.
  • Connections to the website are encrypted.
  • Staff sessions are kept secure, and payout codes held for printing on a shop computer are deleted after a short time and when the staff member signs out (see the Cookie Policy).

No system is completely secure. If a breach affects personal data in a way that creates a risk for the people concerned, we will tell them and the authorities as the law requires.

9.Cookies

We use only the necessary cookies and settings described in the Cookie Policy. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.

10.Under-18s

Live355 is only for people aged 18 or over, and the manager may ask for identification to check this. We do not knowingly collect data about anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we will delete the data that we are not required to keep.

11.Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The “last updated” date shows the current version, and we will tell you about important changes on the website.
