This policy explains which cookies and similar browser storage Live355 uses. In short: we use only what is necessary to run the site. Customers who bet at a shop or check a ticket do not need any cookie to do so. We do not use advertising, marketing or tracking cookies, and we do not let advertisers or analytics companies place cookies on your device through our site.
1.What cookies are
Live355 (live355.com) is a sports betting service. Bets are placed at Live355 shops, at the counter.
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Browsers also offer “local storage”, which lets a site keep small settings on your device. Both stay on your device; neither can read other files on it.
3.Local storage on your device
To make the site comfortable we also keep the following settings in your browser’s local storage. They are not cookies and are never sent to us as such; they stay on your device until they expire or you clear them.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| l355-theme | Remembers whether you prefer the light or the dark theme. | Until you clear it |
| l355:payout:… | On shop computers only: hands the payout code of a ticket that has just been sold over to the print page, so that it can be printed on the ticket. Each entry is deleted as soon as it is read, expires after 10 minutes at most, and all entries are deleted when staff sign out. | 10 minutes at most |
| l355:paper | Remembers the paper size chosen for printing tickets. | Until you clear it |
| live355-betslip | Keeps the selections and stake in your bet slip while you browse. | Until you clear it |
| live355-favorites | Keeps the matches and competitions you marked as favourites. | Until you clear it |
| l355-recent | Keeps your recent searches so you can repeat them quickly. | Until you clear it |
4.What we do not use
- No advertising or marketing cookies.
- No third-party analytics or tracking cookies, and no social-media plug-ins that set cookies.
- No profiling of your browsing to show you personalised adverts.
Our sports data provider does not receive any information about you from your browser. Links to other sites (for example the support organisations on the Responsible gambling page) lead to websites that have their own cookie policies.
5.Consent and your choices
Because we only use cookies and storage that are strictly necessary to provide the service you ask for, we do not ask for your consent for them and there is no cookie banner.
You can delete cookies and local storage at any time in your browser’s settings, or set the browser to block them. If you block the session cookie, staff will not be able to sign in. If you delete the language cookie or the local storage, the site returns to the default language and settings, and your bet slip and favourites on that device are cleared.
6.Changes and contact
If we ever want to use any cookie that is not strictly necessary, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first. For questions about this policy or about personal data, see the Privacy Policy. You can reach us at [email protected].
